My favorite…

I listen to a ton of podcasts (I have an 1.5 hour commute to work everyday), and got turned on to Mike Drop (easy Mike, i know what you’re thinking!!!) through another podcast that he was a guest on… he asks all the right questions, doesn’t care if he’s politically correct, and he throws in the right amount of humor. I’m currently working my way all the way back to episode 1… and enjoying every minute of it. Keep it comin’ Mike!

Down to earth, deeper conversations and engaging interviews

This podcast works because Mike is both a no holds barred interviewer, has a great sense of humor and compassion. He asks follow on questions others avoid so discussions are gritty and deep. His engaging sense of fun shines through with his guests no matter how tense the stories or dark the experiences they recount. He also spans different types of people in a number of serious occupations. Well worth your time. Only wish he did more…

The Best Podcast Around

Have never listened to one I didn’t absolutely get enveloped in. Mike is probably the best interviewer I have ever listened to with a mix of earnest interest and hilarious banter. Amazing!

Awesome podcast by all means. Although the audio keeps going in and out almost if the host/and guest at looking away from the microphone while speaking.

Comedy, nostalgia, and badassery all in one

I listen to an episode a day typically as im always in the car. A who’s who of guests from all branches and walks of life. Mike is incredibly articulate, down to Earth, and pretty funny throughout the podcast. His platform definitely gives me an outlet to still feel connected to the veteran community. Thanks Mike!

Mike is the best!

Mike is one of the best interviewers on podcasting. Even if he doesn’t agree with the guest, he is insightful and can find common ground for a successful interview with great respect for the guest.

The best show about SoF out there.

The fact that this dude only does face to face interviews really takes this show to the next level. When two people are in a room talking they can feed off each other and that really comes out in this show.

Great, with one area of improvement

Mike is naturally a great interviewer and knows the right questions to ask to grow the listeners understanding of a situation or topic. The one area of improvement is the cursing, I think the information would come across much more professional if it was minimal. Looking forward to season 2.
