The gold standard of podcasts. Mike is a fantastic interviewer. His patience and calmness with Will Cheney was a true tribute to his character. James Hatch would be a great story to hear.

Great podcast! But the new ads are a bit much

Been a Long time listener and always loved the podcast. Not much for leaving reviews, the frequent ads are definitely turning me off from the podcast. Definitely not enjoying the show anymore.

Production quality going down hill

I can usually hear Mike great but the guest is hit or miss. I’m constantly adjusting my volume. The ads are too frequent and ruin the flow of the podcast. If all the ads were done at the introduction it would make the podcast much more enjoyable. I just suffered through some annoying ad about gambling while I was writing this. Mike drop was always a must listen but not so much anymore

Curious Ad Placement

Why are ads or copy-reads placed mid sentence? Makes it hard to follow. I’ll shut up and go choke myself.

Blasting my ears with garbage ads mid sentence. Take a lesson from some of the other big podcasts and do ads properly.

Ruined a Great Podcast with Ads

This used to be one of my favorite podcasts. It’s almost unlistenable at this point. Nothing but disruptive ads in the middle of the conversation. It absolutely ruins the listen. This has become a trend that I’m sure sponsors are pushing on all podcasters to prevent skipping when they are all at the beginning or end. Corporate money has taken over and podcasts are quickly becoming just another branch of mainstream media.

Was five star, should still be a five star but..

Random commercials at the most inopportune times. This has been a great podcast, and if the input of commercials increases I’d venture to guess downloads will decrease. Hope this changes soon.

The Brandon Tatum episode was amazing and should be required listening. The audio - mostly on his end - is quiet and difficult to hear at times. The show is always fantastic!!

Dear Debbie Lee thank you. I can’t believe how strong this woman is. Her grace and faith shows the world you can be the guiding light, in the darkness of losing a loved one. Mark Lee last letter home should be carved in stone. His words needs to have a home in every hearts of Americans. Personally I never thought a pod cast could change me, but it did. Marks words has a home in my heart.
