Edward R Gallagher is a retired United States Navy Seal who came to national attention in the United States after he was charged with 10 offenses under the Uniform Code of Military Justice over accusations with an ISIS prisoner, but later was acquitted. His book The Man in the Arena: From fighting ISIS to Fighting for My Freedom. Tells his story.
