On February 15th, 2022, Retired MARSOC Marine Raider Michael Bloch suffered a severe mental breakdown. Likely caused by a brutal combination of post-traumatic stress, lack of sleep, high-stakes working conditions, and a prescription drug called Nuvigil, Bloch blacked out in his vehicle before pulling off the side of the road and discharging his firearm erratically into the air, striking two vehicles and a mobile home along with his own vehicle.
Fortunately, no one was injured, but it's a harsh wake-up call for any veteran that's simply been taking what's prescribed to them. Here's Michael's side of the story.
